• Let me go.

You need to let me go. I know you’re worried, but this is beyond what I can handle and what other mothers do. You need to start taking what I say into consideration without getting so defensive. No, you’re not always right anymore. I’m old enough to make my own decisions without having to worry about my mother calling me every two hours or pressuring me to be someone who I’m not. I have control and you can’t judge someone you’ve never met based off of what you see in those you do know. No one is the same. There’s a lot more to them than you think… people just make mistakes sometimes.

If you want the truth, then take it and learn to appreciate it. Start trusting me and my judgment because I am successful and responsible. You need to let me go. When you try to pry into my life when I’m not willing to let you in for whatever reasons, I lose MY trust in YOU.

I’m sorry if I’m not who you want me to be. But you need to accept it. I’m safe, and I’ll be fine. Let me go. Please.
