    Mom and Dad,

Thank you. Thank you for always being there. For being my parents, my friend, my enemy, me mentor. You two are the best any kid could ever ask for. Sure you have your flaws, but i would change a single one.

Mom- you are such a beautiful talented woman. You see beauty in things i would never imagine. You are my best friend. Over the years we have had our moments, but we made it through. I feel as though we are closer than we have ever been. I still don’t tell you everything, but that’s for your protection (and i suppose mine). But i tell you what’s important. I know i could come to you with anything. And that means the world to me. I know you will always be there for me. Thank you for being the person i can look up to. Ever since i was little i wanted to be a lot like you. The older i get the more reason i see behind the things you did and still do. I am so glad we have the relationship we do have. I love that we talk at least 2 times a day. When we don’t, i feel like it makes my day off a little. You keep me grounded and keep me in place. Thank you for that. You are the most amazing woman and i am so blessed to be able to call you my mom. 143

Dad-you are so special to me. I look at so many of my friends who have had no dad, or dead beat dads and i can’t help but wonder why i got so lucky. We are 2 of a kind and i cherish every moment i get to spend with you. We have always had a special connection. It’s always amazed me at how close we are because we never have talked a lot, but when we spend time together, i know our father daughter relationship has grown stronger. You are my rock. I know you would do ANYTHING for me. You worked two jobs since before i was born to make sure you could provide for your family. The thing that always amazed me with that, was no matter what. You never missed a single little league, basketball, volleyball, or softball game. You took me to every football game just so i could hang out with my friends. And i always felt bad because you would sit by yourself in the bleachers. I don’t know what i would do without you. I love you. And i will always be Daddy’s Little Girl.

    Love your Daughter
