I will never understand how you are able to eat a dead body. Yes, it is an animal and not a human…but what is the difference really? Isn’t it murder either way? The only difference is that the animal you are eating was most likely tortured all of his or her life awaiting its death. Can you imagine if your only purpose in life was to be killed and eaten? Can you imagine your entire life being owned by a person who has no respect for you and does not have one care about you at all? I can picture this being somewhat similar to the life of a child who is abused physically and mentally. How is it any different for an animal? There is nothing in the world that I am more passionate about than animals. We need to speak up for those without a voice, whether it be children or animals. No life should be taken for granted. Yes, you can argue that it is only natural to kill other beings…but is it really? And if you answer yes, then can you honestly say that it is natural to raise our prey in terrible environments where they are trapped and suffer their entire lives before we kill them? Isn’t it interesting how easily you can separate the food on your plate from the animal whose life was taken? How ridiculous is it that the animal lives for however many years and its life is ended in two seconds because of you, for a meal that may take you a half hour to eat. Is it really worth it? If you had any compassion you would give up this cruel act. By eating meat, you are encouraging murder, whether you choose to admit it or not. Go ahead, try to convince yourself that it is okay, but before you make the decision to continue eating the dead bodies whose life you have stolen, watch the videos of what happens to your meat. If you can watch them and honestly be okay with what is going on, then i am done trying to convince you. There is no hope for you and that is what is wrong with the world.

Isn’t it interesting how you can quote ‘facts.’ How ridiculous is it that there are larger problems in this world, starving people, lonely people, economic and environmental disasters happening, yet all you can do is spend your time judging someone who is different? Is that really worth it? If you had any compassion, you would stop trying to make people feel bad for trying to carve out a living, or eating what is available at their income. By making these arguments, you are encouraging ignorance of fact and unjust guilt in people who do not know better. Go ahead, try to convince yourself that you are fighting the good fight, but before you continue your ‘righteous crusade,’ consider the other side from a place other than your high perch. If you can base a decision based on a violent minority which gets filmed and fear-mongering, then I fear for your ability to make informed decisions. There is hope for you, and your choice of lifestyle is not bad. However, trying to force your beliefs on another without reasonable conversation is what is wrong with the world.

Oh pleaseeeee, I’ll eat meat all I want. Have you heard of free range animals? It means they live a happy life until they are butchered. 😛 Also echoing the other commenter. What about starving children? You know what they’d love to eat? Meat.

Go back to Peta where you belong.

Just because you don’t believe in someone else’s lifestyle doesn’t mean its wrong. I love my steak and I love my chicken and I’m not gonna stop eating it just cause some hippie thinks I shouldn’t. It is NATURAL for things to be killed and eaten in the entire world’s ecosystem. It’s the circle of life. Get over it, that’s what they were put on this earth for. Not all animals are treated the way you think, either. Get off your soap box and go hug a tree.

Why do you people feel the need to criticize someone for stating their opinion? People do not upload posts on here so that they can get negative feedback. Although i eat meat, I respect what this person is trying to say. They have a very good point that I do not think any of you should put him/her down for. You should be considerate and open minded if you are going to read any post on this website

There’s a difference between stating your opinion and shoving it in someone’s face and insulting them for their own beliefs and opinions. If meat eaters are the biggest problem in the world to this person then they are seriously deluded. You can live your life the way you want and we’ll do the same.
