In the Chaos of my life,
    The nocturnal desert of cold
I am drawn towards the peace that emanates from your soul.
Your expression is forever calm, as water flowing across smooth stones.
I feel satiation in the hole where anxiety resides.
    Something I have never known.
When I am with you nothing else is real,
when we speak we are engrossed in the spinning of our wheel.
    When you look at me
    with that intensity,
what is it you’re looking for
in the lines of my face?
I wonder if it is exactly
what I’m looking for in yours.
    When our eyes lock,
    time stops,
there is only you and I.
I know these things are real
    although we try to conceal.
Friendship is the name of the deal.
I am simply sure of what I feel.
You plant my feet into the earth
and quiet my soul of raging sea
You are my muse, my passion
now from your lips, what do you feel for me?

If this were sent to me; my answer would be: Love.

Beautiful letter! Familiarity leads me to wishful thinking, yet again. My answer would be… The purest and sweetest love I have ever known.
