I saw a sign at the vets’ office that said “The more I get to know some people… the more I like the cat.”

This is just about my life in a nutshell. I always say that I love my cat more than I love most people. I’d bet a lot of people think I’m a crazy old cat lady in the making, and I’m okay with that.

My cat is fantastic. He doesn’t bite, he doesn’t scratch, he doesn’t hiss, he doesn’t run away. My cat has never broken a promise, spread a rumor, or said something mean to me. He’s comforted when I was upset more than any of my friends have. I certainly love him more than most of my family. And I never have to go through explaining what’s wrong- I can just cuddle up with him and he’ll start purring.

I guess I will end up old, alone, and with seventy-three cats….

Don’t worry. I feel the same about my dog. Animals never betray you, and they’re the most loyal friends in the world.
I’m okay with my dog being my best friend.

Too be quiet honest, there is a relationship that only animal lovers can understand when it comes to speaking to ones pets. That’s made quiet obvious by the fact that you can always pose a question to them and they can never really give you a right or wrong answer. Not only that, there body cues act on your expressions and never truly lie about their intentions or feelings. Thus making it quite it easy to get attached to them – I know talking to my dog helps me relieve stress from voicing concerns onto him when no one is around.

There is no sufficient reason to die alone, with 73 cats. I firmly believe that there is someone for everyone. Your someone is out there somewhere, you just haven’t found him or her yet. Be strong, stay beautiful, and never give up hope. <3

I am that way about dogs. They are much less stressful than people most of the time. However, 73 is a bit much. At that point, you have a zoo not a house full of faithful companions. Keep the number in the single digits for best results 🙂
