Dear Boyfriend,

It’s been nearly two years since I first met you at that party, and even though you tell me you were only looking for a one night stand, you dumped your girlfriend for me. You were a senior, and I a year below, but after being graduated you stayed close to me. You even rented an apartment for “us”…one day. In 7 months I will be settled into my dorm room 14 hours and a boarder crossing away from you.

It scares me when you talk about following me, or budgeting in money to visit every other weekend. I am afraid to tell you because of how hard you try, but I’m not taking you, or this relationship, with me. I’m sorry.
