    Don’t beat yourself up so much for molesting me throughout my childhood.

    I have forgiven you and put it past me long ago.

    People make terrible mistakes, and I believe that your own horrible childhood had a huge impact on your understanding of appropriate parental love and contact. It’s ok; I’m ok.

      Kudos to you for forgiving him. There need to be more people in the world like you.
      Every time someone makes a mistake, people spend their entire lives making them feel bad about it.
      You are an amazing person for breaking this trend.
