    Dear Me,

I wish you were different. I suppose I could do something to change you, but I don’t want to be something I’m not. Because of you, meaning “because of me”, I sit alone on the weekends, staring at the walls of my room. It’s because of you, meaning “because of me”, that I cry every Saturday because people I know are out having a good time and I have no one.

    So here’s to you.

I just don’t seem to be able to make something of myself. I’ll end up being one of those bag ladies everyone talks about but no one talks to.

      Dear you,

Don’t change who you are and become someone you are not. Embrace who you are. Embrace it and have fun with it. The people with characters are ones who know themselves.

Also, no one talks to you? Then talk to someone, anyone. Say hi. Weather is nice, or sometimes it’s just shitty. There, a topic.

You. You don’t have to wait for an invitation to speak. You don’t have to wait for permission join in. Do so when you feel like it. And if they reject you, walk away, find someone else. After all, you only need to find one person. The one.

      Now, go and take control.
